How to Book Your Maternity and Newborn Session in Caledon and Bolton
Welcoming a new baby is one of the most exciting and cherished times in your life, and capturing these precious moments through maternity and newborn photography is a beautiful way to preserve those memories. If you’re in the Caledon or Bolton area and are looking to document this special time, here’s a simple guide on how to book your next session with me.
1. Get in Touch
The first step to booking your maternity or newborn session is to reach out! You can contact me directly through my website, by phone, or via email. During this initial conversation, we’ll discuss your vision for the session, any specific ideas you have, and what you’re hoping to achieve with your photos. Whether you’re looking for a serene outdoor maternity session or a cozy in-home newborn shoot, I’m here to bring your vision to life.
2. Choose Your Session Type
Once we’ve connected, it’s time to decide which session best suits your needs. I offer a variety of options, including:
Maternity Sessions: These sessions are typically scheduled between 28-36 weeks of pregnancy, when your belly is beautifully rounded, but you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the experience. We’ll choose a location that reflects your style, whether it’s a natural outdoor setting in Caledon or a more intimate indoor session.

Newborn Sessions Ideally scheduled within the first two weeks after birth, these sessions capture your baby’s earliest days. We can hold the session in my studio, where I have everything we need to keep your baby safe and comfortable, or I can come to your home for a more personal touch.
Maternity & Newborn Packages: Many clients opt for a package that includes both a maternity and a newborn session, allowing you to document this beautiful journey from pregnancy through those first precious weeks.
3. Secure Your Date
Maternity and newborn sessions are best booked in advance to ensure availability, especially since newborn sessions are time-sensitive. Once you’ve decided on the type of session, we’ll choose a date (or dates, if you’re booking both maternity and newborn sessions). A deposit will secure your spot on my calendar, and I’ll provide you with all the details you need to prepare for your session.
4. Prepare for Your Session
As your session date approaches, I’ll send you a guide with tips on how to prepare. For maternity sessions, we’ll discuss outfit choices, location preferences, and any specific shots you have in mind. For newborn sessions, I’ll provide advice on how to ensure your baby is ready for the session, including feeding and sleeping tips to help create a calm and peaceful environment.

5. Enjoy Your Session
The day of your session is all about you and your family. I strive to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, where you can feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. My goal is to capture the genuine emotions and connections that make your family unique, whether it’s the glow of pregnancy or the tender moments with your newborn.
6. Review and Select Your Images
After your session, I’ll carefully edit and curate the best images, ensuring each one reflects the beauty and emotion of this special time. You’ll receive a gallery of images. Time to share with family and friends.
7. Cherish Your Memories
Once you’ve made your selections, I’ll finalize your order and deliver your images, whether digitally or in print. These photos will serve as a lasting reminder of this incredible journey, capturing the love, anticipation, and joy that comes with welcoming a new life into your family.
