Last year, I had the joy of photographing a handful of indoor motherhood sessions and let me tell you, they truly filled my heart. While I had planned to offer many more, a personal health setback last year meant I had to slow down and give myself space to heal. But the sessions I did capture? They reminded me exactly why I love doing this work.

There is something so powerful about motherhood photography. These sessions are not just about smiles and poses they’re about connection, emotion, and the quiet in-between moments that define the mother-child bond. Whether it was soft cuddles on the couch, laughter echoing through the room, or those magical little glances between mom and child, each photo tells a story.

I’m so grateful to the incredible mothers who trusted me to capture these fleeting moments. Watching your love and tenderness with your children is a gift I don’t take lightly. These sessions are all about preserving the realness of motherhood the beauty, the chaos, the deep, unconditional love.

The cozy indoor space made it easy for little ones to feel comfortable and free, allowing their personalities to shine. I focused on keeping the energy light, relaxed, and filled with genuine connection that’s always when the most meaningful images happen.

Looking ahead to the year, I’m planning to open up more spots for motherhood photography sessions especially indoor sessions during the cooler months, just when it’s about to become a little nicer out… yes spring time!
